Michael D Harrington Obituary, Death; – New Hampshire State Police officials are sharing the name of the driver who was killed in a crash on the Fourth of July.
Michael D. Harrington, 70, of Tamworth, was identified Monday as the victim of the single-vehicle collision on Maple Road in Tamworth.
Officials said that shortly before 8:20 p.m. Friday, State Police dispatch received a call from someone who reported that a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck had crashed into a tree and the driver of the truck was unconscious.
State troopers and members of the Tamworth Fire Department responded to the crash scene, and firefighters were first to arrive. First responders rendered aid to Harrington, who was then transported to an area hospital. Police said Harrington was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after he arrived there.
