Maurice Streeter Obituary, Death; – Police have identified the man who was shot and killed on the front porch of a northeast Rochester home over the weekend.
Maurice Streeter, 44, of Rochester was shot to death on the front porch of 24 Mazda Terrace on Friday, Aug. 15, said Capt. Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department. Emergency responders were called to the scene around 9 p.m. and arrived to find Streeter, a Mazda Street resident, on the front porch with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body, Umbrino said.
He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. According to the preliminary investigation, Streeter had been sitting on the porch of the residence with at least one other person when an argument broke out. The dispute escalated, sparking the fatal shooting, police said.
No charges have been filed in connection with the homicide. Officers continue to investigate the slaying.
