Marvin Wayne Henry Obituary, Death; – Three individuals are facing murder charges following the discovery of a deceased 68-year-old man from Dallas County alongside an access road to Interstate 20 in Palo Pinto County, located approximately one hour west of Fort Worth, as reported by officials.
The victim has been identified as Marvin Wayne Henry, according to a statement from the Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Office.
The accused are Natalie Gomez, 31, and Pascual Villaneda, 39, both residents of Dallas County, along with Ruperto Toscano, 44, from Mexico. All three individuals are charged with capital murder, as stated by the sheriff’s office.
Henry’s body was found on Monday morning around 9:00 AM after deputies responded to a report regarding a potential deceased individual near the I-20 access road at Exit 373. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Henry’s lifeless body and determined that he had been a victim of criminal assault, having sustained traumatic injuries, according to the release.
Authorities indicated that evidence suggested Henry was not killed in Palo Pinto County but was transported there post-mortem.
Investigators discovered that Henry’s vehicle was missing, which was subsequently located near Gainesville, north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, on Monday morning. Two suspects were apprehended for questioning, while a third suspect was found in the nearby Valley View region, as reported by officials.
The Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Office subsequently secured capital murder warrants for all three suspects. As of Thursday, they remain in custody in Cooke County, pending transfer to Palo Pinto County.
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the case with assistance from the Texas Rangers, as indicated in the news release.
