Martin Jackson Obituary, Death; – A 37-year-old man was fatally shot on Friday afternoon, and the suspect remains at large, as reported by the Quincy Police Department.
Authorities responded to a report of gunfire shortly before 4 p.m. in the vicinity of Thomas and Stevens Streets. Upon arrival, officers discovered Martin Jackson suffering from a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the scene.
The Quincy Police Department has identified the suspect as 31-year-old Adarius Jackson. Officials have confirmed that he is not related to the victim and are actively pursuing efforts to apprehend him.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing; however, police have indicated that an altercation occurred prior to the shooting.
