Marshall Wilson Obituary, Death; – A man who was fatally shot in the parking lot of a bar in Billings has been identified. According to the Yellowstone County Coroner’s Office, 46-year-old Marshall Wilson was killed following a shooting incident outside the Reno Club on Calhoun Lane, which occurred after a dispute in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Authorities report that the altercation began with a verbal confrontation, during which Wilson drew a firearm and opened fire on a 38-year-old male and a 42-year-old female, injuring both. The woman attempted to return fire when another individual, who was not part of the initial conflict, discharged his weapon, resulting in Wilson’s death.
Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two individuals sustained injuries that are not life-threatening. It has been confirmed that the three individuals were acquainted prior to the incident. Billings Police Chief Rich St. John indicated that the 25-year-old man responsible for the shot that killed Wilson may face legal charges. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
