Marcia Adair-Davis,Jermaine Stubbs Obituary, Death; – Fayetteville police reported on Saturday night that a third individual has succumbed to injuries sustained in a car accident that occurred on Friday, which had already claimed the lives of two others. Authorities have also released the identities of the deceased.
The incident was documented shortly after 4:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of Cedar Creek Road, close to LA Dunham Road, as stated in a news release from the Fayetteville Police Department.
According to CBS 17, officers indicated that the driver of a Dodge Charger was heading north on Cedar Creek Road while a Honda was traveling south. The driver of the Dodge Charger lost control, crossed over the center line, and collided with the Honda.
Jermaine Stubbs, 42, the driver of the Charger, and his front passenger, Hope Bryant, 41, both residents of Fayetteville, were pronounced dead at the scene, as reported by the police.
Marcia Adair-Davis, 51, the driver of the Honda, passed away after being transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, according to police reports.
Additionally, a third occupant in the Dodge Charger sustained critical injuries. The accident occurred approximately one mile west of Interstate 95, and authorities believe that excessive speed may have contributed to the loss of control of the Charger.
