Mandy Adams Obituary, Death; – On the evening of Wednesday, May 4, around 8:30 p.m., the Tarpon Springs Police and Fire Rescue units responded to a collision involving two pedestrians on southbound US Highway 19, close to Woodhill Drive.
According to officials, a 2020 Kia utility vehicle was heading south when it collided with the two pedestrians. One of the individuals, identified as 48-year-old Mandy Adams, suffered critical injuries and was taken to AdventHealth North Pinellas in Tarpon Springs, where she subsequently succumbed to her injuries.
The second pedestrian, 43-year-old Morgan Morris, was also hit and sustained injuries that were not life-threatening; he was transported by ambulance to HCA Florida Bayonet Point Medical Center in Hudson.
The driver of the Kia utility vehicle, a resident of Tarpon Springs, and a female passenger were unharmed and remained at the scene, cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Authorities indicated that no criminal charges are expected to be filed in relation to the incident at this time.
