Maddex Fiesta Obituary, Death; – The teenage boy who died Wednesday while riding an electric motorbike in Ewa Beach has been identified.
The Honolulu medical examiner identified him as Maddex Fiesta, 15. His cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head, the medical examiner said.
Just before 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, police said Fiesta was on the bike crossing the street at the intersection of Kolowaka Drive and Fort Weaver Road when he was hit by a vehicle.
Police said he was in a marked crosswalk, but going against a ‘do not walk’ signal, when he was hit by a 75-year-old driver.
The Campbell High student was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he died.
Investigators said he was not wearing a helmet.
