Mack Wagner Obituary, Death; – The St. Louis Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a man who is wanted in connection with a murder case.
John Phillips, aged 45, faces charges of first-degree murder, armed criminal action, first-degree robbery, and unlawful possession of a firearm in relation to the death of Mack Wagner. Wagner, who was 62 years old, was fatally shot on the afternoon of July 29 in the Dutchtown area.
Authorities reported that he was discovered with gunshot wounds on the floor of the Kaiser Mart located at 5008 S. Grand Blvd. He was declared deceased shortly after being transported to the hospital. The St. Louis police have released a booking photograph of Phillips, which pertains to theft charges from 2023. Individuals who encounter Phillips are advised not to approach him and to contact 911 immediately.
