Lashunda Shmicka McLendon Obituary, Death; – A woman was fatally shot at an apartment complex in south Charlotte on Friday morning, according to detectives.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the incident at the intersection of High Meadow and Archdale Drive shortly after 10 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered an individual who had been shot and was deceased.
The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Lashunda Shmicka McLendon. It remains uncertain whether investigators have identified a suspect in connection with the shooting, and no arrests have been reported at this time.
