Larrylee Anthony Holtzclaw Obituary, Death; – The Madisonville Police Department has announced that it has identified a ‘person of interest’ in connection with a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a 43-year-old man last week.
According to MPD, Larrylee Anthony Holtzclaw, aged 43, was hit on Oak Grove Road near Lincoln Drive at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16. He was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries later on.
MPD reported that its criminal investigations and patrol divisions have examined surveillance footage from multiple locations and collected statements from several witnesses. They have successfully identified a suspect vehicle along with the individual believed to have been operating it.
On Friday, MPD stated that it obtained a search warrant for the suspect vehicle, which has since been sent to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab in Knoxville for further analysis.
The identity of the person of interest has not been disclosed by MPD, likely due to the absence of formal charges. The department indicated that it is maintaining ongoing communication with the district attorney general’s office concerning possible prosecution.
