LaPorsha Farr Obituary, Death;- The Fairfield County Coroner has identified the woman killed in a shooting that also left another person injured;.
Coroner Chris Hill said 37-year-old LaPorsha Farr of Spartanburg was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting on Durham Place Road near Winnsboro Tuesday afternoon.
The other person shot at the home was taken to Prisma Health Richland in Columbia for treatment. That person’s condition is not known.
The sheriff’s department said that the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is assisting in the investigation, and they are working to collect evidence and interview witnesses.
“We are fully committed to uncovering the truth and bringing justice to the victim and their loved ones,” the sheriff’s department said in a release.
