Landon McClanahan Obituary, Death; – A 19-year-old man died after a crash Sunday morning on the Turner Turnpike.
At about 4:40 a.m., Landon McClanahan of Oklahoma City was driving a vehicle when he was involved in a crash with a commercial vehicle. Mcclanahan died as a result of the crash, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
There were no passengers inside McClanahan’s vehicle. Two people were inside the commercial vehicle, but neither was injured, according to OHP.
The crash took place in the westbound lanes of the turnpike near mile marker 151. McClanahan was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report. The cause of the crash wasn’t immediately clear. KOCO 5 plans to get more information from troopers Monday.
