Lacresha Black Obituary, Death; – A shooting incident in Springfield Township early Monday resulted in the deaths of both a homicide victim and a suspect.
Lacresha Black, aged 33, was discovered deceased outside her residence on Lincoln Avenue after law enforcement was summoned to the location around 7 a.m., as reported by the Springfield Township Police Department.
During the investigation, authorities identified the suspect as 42-year-old Terea Brown. By the time officers arrived, Brown had already fled the scene in a Chevrolet Cruze. Following the issuance of a vehicle description, detectives received information indicating that Brown had traveled to Clinton County, Indiana.
Subsequently, Brown was involved in a pursuit with Indiana State Police. The chase concluded with a gunshot being discharged from within Brown’s vehicle, which was followed by return fire from the pursuing troopers. Both the Springfield Township Police Department and Indiana State Police are actively continuing their investigations.
