Kristen Heber Obituary, Death; – A woman from Federal Way who succumbed to injuries sustained in a crash in Tacoma last week has been officially identified by the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Kristen Heber, aged 22, passed away due to multiple blunt-force injuries on Friday at Norpoint Way Northeast. The Medical Examiner’s Office classified her death as accidental, as stated in a news release.
The accident resulted in the closure of a section of Norpoint Way Northeast. Tacoma Fire personnel initially declared Heber deceased at the scene; however, a physician later requested her transport to a hospital, as reported by The News Tribune.
She was revived at the hospital but ultimately did not survive. A family member informed The News Tribune of her passing and mentioned that her organs are being donated to five individuals. The family also communicated the news of Heber’s death to a police detective.
As of Wednesday, the investigation into the crash is ongoing, according to police spokesperson Officer Shelbie Boyd, as reported by The News Tribune.
