Krishna Emmadi Obituary, Death; – An elderly individual has been confirmed as the victim of a significant house fire that occurred in Naperville on Tuesday afternoon.
The Naperville police arrived at the scene of the fire located in the 3500-block of Redwing Court, in proximity to Scullen Middle School, shortly after 3:15 p.m. Aerial footage captured by Chopper 7 revealed substantial smoke emanating from the residence.
According to the fire department, their teams also responded and attempted to rescue a man who was trapped on the second floor. However, officials reported that the rescue efforts were hindered by the severity of the flames, which were raging on both levels and caused the collapse of an interior staircase.
Authorities confirmed that the trapped individual did not survive, while another person was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The victim has been identified as Krishna Emmadi, who was in his late 70s.
