Kim Beacham-Hanson Obituary, Death; – A woman from New Jersey has been charged following allegations that she fatally assaulted her mother.
On Tuesday, December 17, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office announced in a press release that 32-year-old Breanna Beacham faces first-degree murder charges in connection with the death of her mother, Kim Beacham-Hanson, which reportedly occurred on Monday, December 16.
The incident transpired within the victim’s residence located in the Hawthorne Park area, according to the release. “Breanna Beacham, who was temporarily residing at her mother’s home on Hopewell Lane, has been charged with Murder (First Degree), Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose (Third Degree), and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (Fourth Degree),” the release indicated.
Beacham was apprehended on Tuesday and subsequently taken to the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly, as stated by prosecutors. “The case is now being prepared for presentation to a grand jury for potential indictment,” the release noted.
It remains unclear whether Beacham has entered a plea or secured legal representation. Authorities discovered Beacham-Hanson, aged 57, after responding to a call regarding an ongoing assault at the residence shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday.
“The initial investigation revealed that she had been bludgeoned to death. An autopsy conducted by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood determined that her death was a homicide resulting from multiple blunt force injuries,” the news release detailed. The motive behind the attack is still under investigation.
