Kevin Loring Obituary, Death; – A 37-year-old man lost his life on Sunday evening when his motorcycle struck a van on US-27 in Polk County, as reported by law enforcement officials.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. in the vicinity of Charles Street, close to Frostproof. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office stated that a van, which was halted at a stop sign, made a left turn onto US-27 directly in the path of the motorcycle.
The collision resulted in the motorcyclist being ejected from his bike, according to deputies. The deceased motorcyclist has been identified as Kevin Loring, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The van’s driver, a 48-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
