Kenneth Gay Obituary, – The individual who lost his life early Saturday morning outside the Exhale Hookah Lounge in Akron has been identified as Kenneth Gay, a 33-year-old male, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Law enforcement officers responded to the 500 block of East Exchange Street around 2:16 a.m. following multiple reports of a shooting incident. Upon their arrival, they discovered Gay outside the lounge suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services were summoned, but Gay was pronounced dead at the scene. It was reported that most patrons of the lounge had departed prior to the arrival of the police. The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
