Kelly Jenks,Donna Jenks Obituary, Death;- On Monday, officials identified two victims, Kelly and Donna Jenks, who were tragically murdered at their residence in Burley on Tuesday, July 8.
Kelly and Donna are survived by their daughter, Jerica Harper, her husband Alex, and their granddaughter, Adalee. A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated to assist the family in covering funeral expenses and other unexpected costs. As of the time of publication, the fundraiser has raised nearly $10,000.
The GoFundMe page describes Jerica and Alex as being exceptionally close to Kelly and Donna, who were recognized as “loving parents, devoted grandparents, and cherished members of their community.”
Additionally, two other individuals were killed on Tuesday in the nearby area, which investigators suspect is linked to the murders of the Jenks. Authorities have apprehended Benjamin Naylor, 56, from Burley, who appeared in court on Wednesday facing four counts of first-degree murder across several counties.
The investigation commenced on Tuesday afternoon when emergency responders in Rupert were dispatched following a report of a possibly deceased woman. Officials uncovered suspicious circumstances, leading to a police investigation into a potential homicide.
Later that same day, the bodies of Kelly and Donna Jenks were discovered in Cassia County, and another victim was found inside a vehicle in Minidoka County. Officials have yet to disclose the identities of the victims found in Rupert and Minidoka County.
