Kathy Samuelson Obituary, Death;- Authorities reported that a 75-year-old woman from the local area succumbed to injuries sustained in a house fire earlier this month.
Connecticut State Police have identified the individual as Kathy Samuelson, who passed away on August 21.
According to state police, a house fire was reported in the 1300 block of Hartford Pike in Killingly during the afternoon of August 7. The fire departments from East Killingly and East Putnam also responded to the incident.
All residents of the house successfully evacuated the premises, and a LifeStar medical helicopter transported one individual with severe injuries to a hospital, as stated by state police.
The investigation into the incident remains active and ongoing as of Thursday, according to state police.
