Katherine Burgos Gonzalez Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the woman who passed away on Thursday after being struck by a vehicle on Route 190 in Enfield.
The Enfield Police Department announced in a news release on Monday morning that the deceased woman is Katherine Burgos Gonzalez. Her age and place of residence have not been disclosed at this time.
The incident took place prior to 8:45 p.m. on Thursday on Route 190, also known as Hazard Avenue, at the intersection with Glen Arden Lane, as reported by the police. Burgos Gonzalez was transported to Johnson Memorial Hospital with serious injuries and was later
pronounced dead, according to police statements.
The driver of the Toyota Camry involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement, as stated by the department.
The Traffic Division of the department, with support from the Metro Traffic Regional Reconstruction Team, is actively investigating the incident.
