Kaden Blair Obituary, Death; – A tragic accident occurred over the weekend on Interstate 380, resulting in the death of a teenager from Eastern Iowa.
CBS2 reports that the Iowa State Patrol responded to the southbound lanes of I-380, located just north of North Liberty, at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, they found that a vehicle had veered off the road and collided with a concrete barrier. The driver was ejected from the vehicle, which subsequently ignited. CBS2 further reports that the driver has been identified as 17-year-old Kaden Blair from Swisher, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
A GoFundMe page indicates that Blair had recently graduated from Cedar Rapids Prairie High School and had begun pre-med studies at the University of Iowa. Funds raised through the page will be allocated for funeral expenses, with additional contributions intended to sponsor a student in the pre-med program in Kaden’s memory. Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
