Junior Evans Obituary, Death; – Champaign County Coroner Laurie Brauer has confirmed the identity of the individual who lost his life in a motor vehicle accident on Thursday, February 6, 2025, as Junior Evans, an 83-year-old resident of Sidell, Illinois.
Evans was declared deceased at the accident site, which took place near the intersection of 2700 E. and 100 N. in Broadlands, Illinois, shortly before 5 p.m. An autopsy is set to be conducted on Friday, February 7, 2025.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is being carried out by the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Champaign County Coroner’s Office.
