Juan Vital Obituary, Death;- On Monday, the medical examiner’s office identified a man who lost his life after falling from an off-road vehicle that was involved in a crash in Lancaster.
The incident took place around 2:25 a.m. on Monday on Avenue H, west of 35th Street, and involved a Can-Am Maverick and a Nissan Sentra, according to Det. Ryan Ament from the sheriff’s Lancaster Station.
A passenger in the Can-Am, later identified by the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office as Juan Vital, aged 36, fell from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries.
Vital, whose residence was not disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene, Ament reported. The Nissan was traveling east on Avenue H when it collided with the off-road vehicle that was on the roadway, Ament stated.
“The cause of the crash is still under investigation. It remains unclear whether speed was a contributing factor,” he noted. “At this point, it is also unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved in this incident.”
