Juan Jose Mendoza Obituary, Death; – A motorcyclist lost his life following a collision that occurred in Fort Payne on Tuesday.
As reported by the Fort Payne Police, officers arrived at the scene of a traffic incident involving a fatality at approximately 4:45 a.m.
Fort Payne Police informed News 19 that the collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle took place near the intersection of Greenhill Blvd and Smith Gap Rd.
The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene and has been identified as Juan Jose Mendoza, 26, from Valley Head.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Traffic Homicide Unit of the Fort Payne Police Department, with assistance from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
