Joshua Mizula Samso Obituary, Death;- The 17-year-old from Hatfield, identified as Joshua Mizula Samso, tragically lost his life in a rollover crash in Deerfield on Sunday.
To honor and remember Josh, a memorial has been created on Greenfield Road where the crash took place, just days before.
The memorial includes pictures of Josh and heartfelt messages from those who knew and loved him. Josh was a rising senior at Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School in Northampton, studying to become an automotive technician.
The superintendent told 22News in a statement that they are mourning the sudden passing of the rising senior and are sending their deepest prayers to Josh’s family and friends. Additionally, they’ve had their counseling staff present and available this week for any student or staff wishing to speak to someone.
He states in part, “We know grief and loss is difficult to process, and we all respond differently. I encourage anyone to reach out for support, and I want to ensure we remain connected as a school.”
A GoFundMe has been started to relieve the family of any financial burden during this difficult time. Already, more than $26,000 has been raised.
