Joshua Arthol Van Allen Obituary, Death; – The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual who lost his life in a shooting incident that occurred at a residence in Springvale Township on Saturday.
Authorities reported that the deceased man was identified as Joshua Arthol Van Allen, aged 34. As per the sheriff’s office, Van Allen had entered the home of a known associate prior to the shooting.
A confrontation took place, resulting in Van Allen being shot and subsequently killed, according to the sheriff’s office. The sheriff indicated that the investigation is still in progress and that the case will be forwarded to a prosecutor.
