Joseph Kuykendall,Vidale Tory Pope Obituary, Death; – Three individuals who lost their lives in separate shootings last week were identified on Tuesday by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office.
Investigations into all three incidents are still in progress, as reported by the New Orleans Police Department. The police did not offer any additional updates.
Individual killed in Central City
Vidale Tory Pope, aged 49, was discovered injured in an empty lot located in the 1500 block of South Liberty Street at approximately 5:30 p.m. on July 23.
He had sustained a gunshot wound to the face and subsequently passed away at a hospital, according to the New Orleans police.
Individual killed in Milan
Joseph Kuykendall, aged 46, was located in the Milan area, specifically in the 2900 block of Louisiana Avenue, at around 10:07 p.m. on July 24, as stated by the police. He had been shot multiple times.
He was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to the NOPD.
Individual killed in CCC shootout
Vincent Robertson, aged 27, was involved in a multi-vehicle shootout on the Crescent City Connection early Sunday morning.
The shooting was reported to the police at 1:03 a.m. Multiple vehicles exchanged gunfire on the westbound section of the bridge, resulting in Robertson and another individual being struck, according to police reports.
Robertson later died at a hospital.
