Joseph Holtz Obituary, Death; – Detectives are currently conducting an investigation into a deadly shooting that occurred this past weekend, immediately following a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Suitland Road and Randolph Road.
At approximately 12:50 a.m. on October 26, law enforcement officers from Morningside and Prince George’s County responded to reports of both a shooting and a vehicular accident at the intersection. According to the police department, the shooting victim, identified as 38-year-old Joseph Holtz from Suitland, was shot after the crash. He was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Authorities recovered two firearms at the scene. Investigators have successfully identified all parties involved in both the crash and the shooting.
