Jose Martinez-Torres Obituary, Death; – A 75-year-old resident of Beaumont has been identified as the individual who passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, after being struck by a vehicle on South MLK Parkway.
The deceased, Jose Martinez-Torres, was declared dead at the scene following the incident, which occurred at approximately 9:24 p.m. in the 2000 block of South MLK Parkway, as reported by the Beaumont Police Department.
According to investigators, the driver remained at the location and cooperated with law enforcement officers. Several units responded to aid in the investigation, including the Traffic Unit, Identification Unit, and the Beaumont Fire Department.
