Jorge Luis Reyes-Barrios Obituary, Death; – A deceased individual discovered on I-215 near the Redwood Road exit on Sunday morning has been identified as 30-year-old Jorge Luis Reyes-Barrios, as reported by the Utah Highway Patrol.
Lieutenant Cameron Roden stated that Reyes-Barrios, who is believed to be a resident of West Valley, was struck by at least one vehicle, and potentially more. When troopers located the individual in the fifth lane, no vehicles were immediately identified as having collided with him; however, “one or two involved parties” have since been contacted, according to Roden.
Investigators do not suspect any foul play in connection with the man’s death, Roden indicated. Nevertheless, anyone who may have known the victim or who might have struck something on the freeway that morning is encouraged to reach out to the Utah Highway Patrol at 801-887-3800.
The investigation remains ongoing.
