Jordan Richard Obituary, Death; – A 19-year-old male is dead following a fatal collision involving a motorcycle Friday morning.
Odessa Police and Odessa Fire Rescue identified Jordan Richard of Odessa as the motorcyclist involved in the collision. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
First responders said they arrived at approximately 10:47 a.m. Friday to the major crash that occurred at 42nd Street and Englewood Lane.
“The investigation revealed a silver 2018 Jeep Latitude was stopped facing west in the 3800 block of East 42nd,” according to the city of Odessa. “A white 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle was eastbound in the right turn lane of the 3800 block of East 42nd.
According to the report, the driver of the Jeep turned south onto Englewood Lane. The motorcyclist continued east in the right turn lane at a high rate of speed. This series of events caused the motorcycle to strike the front right of the Jeep.
The next of kin have been notified, and the investigation into the collision continues.
