John Conway Obituary, Death; – Early on Saturday morning, May 10, a man lost his life when the pickup truck he was traveling in overturned on Interstate 25 near Glenrock at mile marker 153, as reported by the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
John Conway, a 58-year-old resident of Wyoming, was a passenger in a Ford F-150 pickup truck heading northbound on I-25 when the vehicle veered left out of its lane around 1:09 a.m., crossing into the median. According to WYDOT’s report, the truck over-corrected and began to spin clockwise, leading to a passenger-side slide with the attached trailer sliding northward.
The vehicle then entered the median and tripped, resulting in a passenger-side roll and ultimately coming to rest on its roof in the southbound lanes. During the rollover, the trailer detached from the F-150 and came to a stop upside-down north of the truck, as per WYDOT’s findings. There were two other occupants in the pickup; one sustained injuries while the other was unharmed.
The identities of these individuals, as well as that of the driver, have not been disclosed. WYDOT noted that no seatbelts were utilized, and the possibility of the driver being asleep or fatigued may have contributed to the incident.
