Jodie Cannon Obituary, Death;- Investigators did not have enough evidence to arrest a suspect in a hit-and-run that killed a teen near Longville.
Jodie Cannon, 17, was hit and killed while walking on U.S. 171 near A.D. Hodges Road around 4 a.m. on Feb. 9, Louisiana State Police said.
Troopers investigated numerous leads and identified a suspect, but they did not have enough evidence to move forward with an arrest, Sgt. Ross Brennan said. The case is currently closed.
