Jessica Picot Obituary, Death; – A 23-year-old woman, who was tragically shot and killed in Huntington Park by an unidentified assailant, was officially named by county officials on Thursday. The victim, identified as Jessica Picot by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office, was declared dead at the scene of the incident.
Officers from the Huntington Park Department responded to a call at 9:40 p.m. on Monday, arriving at the 3900 block of East 60th Street, situated between Carmelita and Corona avenues, where they discovered the woman inside a truck, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s Information Bureau.
Additionally, a man who was present with the victim in the truck sustained injuries during the shooting and fled to a nearby liquor store to alert the police, as reported by NBC 4. His current condition remains unknown. The Sheriff’s Department is collaborating with the Huntington Park police to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
