Jesse James Dallmann Arrested; – A Sun Valley, Nev., man was charged with homicide after a dead female was found at a dispersed campsite south of Sierra Brooks in Sierra County, Calif., on Friday, Aug. 8, according to a Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.
When deputies arrived at the campsite, they found a body and an incoherent male, Sheriff Mike Fisher said. Later that morning, 36-year-old Jesse James Dallmann was arrested and charged with homicide, Fisher said.
At the request of the Sierra County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Justice Bureau of Forensic Science and the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office are assisting in the investigation.
This is believe to be an isolated incident.
There is no known threat to the public.
