Jeriline Brady-McGinnis Obituary, Death; – A woman from Boston has passed away, and her husband has sustained serious injuries following an incident in which their dog reportedly attacked them. According to NBC Boston, the victim, identified as 73-year-old Jeriline Brady-McGinnis, was bitten by her pit bull mix on Dennison Street in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston on Monday afternoon.
Her husband, whose identity has not been disclosed, also suffered injuries and is currently in intensive care, although he is anticipated to recover. Additionally, two police officers were injured while attempting to assist the couple.
In response to the situation, one officer discharged their firearm at the pit bull mix, which was subsequently injured and transported to Angell Animal Medical Center for medical attention. Unfortunately, the dog was later euthanized with the consent of their son due to its condition and unfavorable prognosis, in order to alleviate its suffering.
It is believed that the initial attack occurred within the residence, while the subsequent attack on the officers transpired outside.
