Jeremiah Dustin Jefferson Obituary, Death; – The Anderson County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual who lost his life in a collision on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred around 11:40 p.m. at the intersection of New Prospect Church Road and Singleton Road. According to law enforcement officials, the victim was traveling north on New Prospect Church Road when his vehicle veered off the road to the right, descended an embankment, and rolled over several times. The coroner’s office reported that 29-year-old Jeremiah Dustin Jefferson succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
A statement from the coroner’s office indicated, “The cause of death is multiple traumatic injuries secondary to blunt force trauma. The manner of death has been classified as accidental. It appears that speed and alcohol may have played a role in the incident.” Additionally, the coroner’s office noted that Jefferson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
