Jennifer Watson Obituary, Death; – A Moorhead man who had previously been convicted of criminal vehicular homicide in a head-on crash that killed a woman and a dog has been sentenced.
Christopher Pink has been sentenced to 85 months and 15 days in prison, with credit for 143 days served. He had pleaded guilty to that Vehicular Homicide while under the influence of alcohol charge back in May.
The incident happened on February 22. Court documents say Pink had left a Moorhead Buffalo Wild Wings shortly before the crash, with receipts obtained by officials showing multiple alcoholic beverages purchased. They also had video evidence of Pink consuming alcohol, taking shots, and stumbling through the restaurant before getting into his car and driving away.
Documents say Pink was driving the wrong way in the south-bound lanes on Highway 75 before colliding head-on with a Jeep. The jeep was flipped onto it’s roof and the driver, 43-year-old Jennifer Watson from Texas, was found dead in the driver’s seat.
