Jeffrey B Calhoun Obituary, Death; – A woman has lost her life after being hit by a vehicle on the Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County on Sunday afternoon. According to the Kentucky State Police, the incident occurred just prior to 1 p.m. near the 22-mile marker.
Investigators report that 32-year-old Krystin M. Bowling from Massillon, Ohio, was outside her vehicle securing luggage when a Toyota Prius left the roadway and collided with both her and her car.
The driver of the Prius has been identified as 62-year-old Jeffrey B. Calhoun from Madisonville. Troopers have stated that the reason for Calhoun’s vehicle veering off the road remains unclear.
Bowling was declared dead at the scene. Authorities have not disclosed any information regarding Calhoun’s condition. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
