Jaymir Deshea Hill Obituary, Death;- The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Wyoming Police Department, is conducting an investigation following a shooting incident in Wyoming that resulted in a fatality on Wednesday.
As reported by the HCSO, law enforcement units were dispatched to the intersection of Burns and Washington avenues at approximately 3:49 p.m. in response to reports of gunfire.
Upon their arrival, emergency crews discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the left shoulder. The victim was transported to UC Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
On Thursday morning, the Hamilton County coroner confirmed the identity of the victim as 15-year-old Jaymir Deshea Hill. In a statement provided to WLWT, the Northwest Local School District acknowledged that Hill was a ninth-grade student in the district during the previous academic year.
“We are profoundly saddened to receive this news and are actively seeking further information to ensure that appropriate support is available for our students, staff, and the family during this challenging time,” stated a spokesperson for the district.
