Jason Nadeau Obituary, Death; – State Police have disclosed the identity and cause of death of an individual found on Mohawk Road in Lincoln earlier this week.
As reported by Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety, the deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Jason Nadeau from Lincoln, who died from gunshot wounds.
“An autopsy was conducted on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta, which confirmed that the cause of death was gunshot wounds and classified the manner of death as homicide. The Maine State Police have identified all parties involved, and no arrests have been made at this time.”
Moss indicated that authorities received a report of gunfire at a Lincoln residence shortly after 9 AM on Wednesday. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Nadeau’s body and arranged for its transport to Augusta for the autopsy.
The State Police Major Crimes Unit North, along with the Evidence Response Team, processed the scene and conducted interviews. Authorities believe there is no ongoing threat to public safety and consider this incident to be isolated. Further updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
