Jason Gau Obituary, Death;- A man has passed away following a stabbing incident in Riverside on Friday morning, as reported by the police.
Jason Gau, aged 46, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday evening at Miami Valley Hospital, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
Riverside police were dispatched to a reported stabbing at approximately 11:22 a.m. on Friday in the 4500 block of Derwent Drive.
Initially, police indicated that the victim underwent surgery due to his injuries; however, they confirmed on Monday that he had died.
Investigators identified the suspect as 24-year-old Zachery Fugate on Friday. He was apprehended and subsequently booked into the Montgomery County Jail on Saturday afternoon.
As of Sunday, he was facing two counts of felonious assault in the Montgomery County Municipal Court East Division.
