Jashari Jackson Obituary, Death; – A suspect was apprehended following a police report indicating that a confrontation resulted in a fatal shooting over the weekend outside an after-hours club in Tulsa.
At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, law enforcement responded to a report of a shooting at an after-hours club located on Yale Avenue near Apache Street. Investigators discovered that several individuals had engaged in a fight, which prompted one of them to retrieve a firearm from a vehicle and discharge it.
Authorities reported that two individuals were struck by gunfire, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Jashari Jackson. The second victim was transported to a local hospital; however, their condition has not been disclosed.
Detectives were able to identify a suspect after conducting interviews with witnesses, which led to an arrest at a Tulsa apartment complex. The suspect has been booked into the Tulsa County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder.
KOCO 5 has not disclosed the name of the suspect as formal charges have yet to be filed.
