Jared Charette Obituary, Death; – A man is dead after a crash in East Windsor on Sunday morning. It happened around 12:30 a.m. on Rye Street in between Ellsworth Boulevard and Plantation Road.
27-year-old Jared Charette has been identified as the man who died.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police told us when they got here, he was lying in the roadway unconscious and performed CPR but weren’t able to revive him.
Officials said Charette’s truck went over a guardrail and hit a utility pole. His truck flipped over and finally came to a stop in a grassy area off the road, being held in place by power lines.
A portion of the road remains closed. Eversource crews are on scene working to restore the power. Their outage map only showing five households without power. This incident remains under investigation at this time.
