Jaquez Moore,Deric Ward Obituary, Death; – A 16-year-old individual has been apprehended and charged in relation to a fatal shooting involving a man and another teenager that occurred in September.
The minor, whose identity has not been disclosed by law enforcement due to his age, faces charges of capital murder. He is alleged to have fatally shot 24-year-old Jaquez Moore and 16-year-old Deric Ward. On September 12, police in Houston responded to reports of a shooting at Bauer Pocket Park, situated at 2201 Bauer Dr. in the Spring Branch area.
According to investigators, the 16-year-old suspect engaged in a confrontation with Moore and Ward prior to the exchange of gunfire. Both Moore and Ward were declared dead at the scene. On Tuesday, the minor was taken into custody and charged.
