Jaquarious Fenn Obituary, Death; – The Killeen Police Department is investigating the death of a 23-year-old following a shooting early Tuesday morning.
On September 23, 2025, around 1:42 a.m., officers were sent to the 200 block of Laura Dr. in reference to a shooting victim.
At the scene, Killeen PD officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound inside his home.
The victim, identified as Jaquarious Fenn, 23, was pronounced dead at 4:40 a.m. by Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson. An autopsy was requested at the Southwest Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Police say the preliminary investigation found that Fenn was inside the home with the suspect when he was shot.
The suspect fled the scene after the shooting, Killeen PD says.
Authorities say this is an ongoing investigation and an isolated incident.
