James Young Obituary, Death; – Police are searching for two suspects in connection with a shooting that killed one person and injured two others in an Aurora shopping center parking lot last week.
The shooting happened just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of 1155 S. Havana St., which is at the intersection of South Havana Street and East Mississippi Avenue. The man who died was identified as James Young, 43.
Police said Monday that they have identified two suspects in connection with the shooting. Hee Dah Weh, 24, of Aurora, and Latrayvon Bullard, 23, of Aurora, are both wanted on suspicion of first-degree murder. Warrants have been issued for their arrest.
One of the victims, a 36-year-old Aurora man, remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, police said Monday. The third victim was a 46-year-old woman from Aurora. No update on her condition was immediately available.
The shooting happened in the parking lot of a shopping center that includes a King Soopers and other stores and restaurants. Police said their investigation indicates an altercation in the parking lot led to the shooting.
