James R Clark Obituary, Death; – A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday afternoon when he crashed into a hay wagon in Oswego County. The person killed was James R. Clark, 34, of Constantia, according to a State Police news release.
The crash happened at about 3:24 p.m. on Route 11 in West Monroe, troopers said. The motorcyclist was traveling south on Route 11 on a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle when he struck the back of a hay wagon being pulled by a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck, troopers said.
The truck, which was also traveling south, was slowing to make a left turn into a driveway. The hay wagon was marked with a slow-moving vehicle triangle, troopers said. Clark was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver, Robert D. Esker, 73, of West Monroe, was not injured, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
